All Versions Of Jurassic Park Now Slated For Fall
Telltale Games knows how to make a quality downloadable/episodic experience.
And that's why we were intrigued when they announced Jurassic Park: The Game, which was initially scheduled to release in April for the PC (and possibly for other systems). But only a few days after reporting the PC version had been pushed to fall, Telltale has confirmed the other intended platforms - PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 - and has stated that all versions will arrive this autumn. Interestingly enough, the 360 version will launch as a "retail release containing the full series on disc." PS3 owners can expect the all-digital treatment, as they'll have to purchase new episodes on the PlayStation Store whenever they're ready. If you're at all familiar with Telltale's recent Back to the Future series, you'll understand how this works. Presumably, the 360 version on DVD will cost about the same as all the individual episodes combined.
For additional info, check the game's official site, which features a very impressive behind-the-scenes video.

Hence the annoyance by people that PS3 gives devs 25-50gigs to work with but 360 makes them squeeze multiplats down to about 6 or 7gigs.

I know there has been a few JP games all the way back to the Sega Genesis games, but I never really liked one. In fact the only dinosaur game I ever really liked was Primal Rage. I sure do hope this game turns out to be fun. I would like it on a disc, but I'm not too upset with downloading the episodes, if I don't like the first one then I'll end up saving money.
