Three DLC Packs For New Vegas
If you're a Fallout fan, you're always on the lookout for expansion content. The more the better, right?
Today, Bethesda Softworks has announced three new downloadable packs for the critically acclaimed Fallout: New Vegas, which will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, starting on May 17.
The first is Honest Hearts, which brings you to the "unspoiled wilderness of Utah's Zion National Park." Things take a turn for the worst when your caravan is ambushed by a raiding party, and this kicks off a war between tribes; the decisions you make "will determine the fate of Zion." In Old World Blues, which will be ready in June, you'll learn how some of Mojave's monsters came into being...how? Um...you become a lab rat in a science experiment gone screwy. Lastly, there's Lonesome Road, set for July, which "brings the courier's story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six." This mission will take you to the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, and few return from such a trip alive.
All packs will be available for $9.99 on the PlayStation Store and Steam, and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.

I'll wait until they release a complete edition to get all the DLC, and at a very low price I think.
I'm glad Skyrim is coming so Bethesda can get to work on Fallout 4.

But also the overall atmosphere was missing something I think. While in Fallout 3 I was really into most all the characters, their story and events, this time around I basically strolled across the desert, several times I'd even forgotten the story behind the current quest etc. That hardly ever happened in Fallout 3.

Sorry Bethesda (Obsidian?), but until you can prove to me that you can make a game on the engrossment calibre of FO that doesn't freeze hourly, or even more regularly, I'll think about buying again. But you would have to be insane to let FO3 out of your QA in the state it was. Sure it reviewed well, but NV proved that doing that again will not guarantee a repeat performance. I'll think about NV only if a Complete Edition comes out, and even then only on the cheap. As for Skyrim... same story. Make it work.
Peace.

Bethesda games are too buggy to pay top dollar for, the worst part is they know they're buggy and they don't care. Especially when it comes to consoles.

3 things ive learned from bethesda over the years.
1 NEVER buy a game on release because A its buggy as fudge and they take months to fix anything!
B since there games are so buggy they drop in price very quickly!
2 NEVER buy DLC on release because of both reasons listed above.
3 NEVER buy either the game or DLC because a year after release they will release a GOTY version even though no one gave it GOTY it will have all DLC included and at a highly reduced price!
