New Multiplayer Info For Revelations
While Assassin's Creed will always have a heavy emphasis on the single-player, last year's Brotherhood introduced a new multiplayer option.
It was refreshing and went over relatively well with fans, and Ubisoft plans to expand upon this feature in the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Now we've got a few more details: in addition to more customization that will let players "represent themselves" more, they've added Playlists. Plus-
- More ways of getting into specific games, with a voting system allowing you to vote for specific maps and modes.
- New features to the Singleplayer game will be parallel with the Multiplayer, visa versa.
- More story will be driven through the Multiplayer, if you progress through the Multiplayer you will ‘unlock’ more of the story (behind the scenes of abstergo).
- The game will have you understanding why Abstergo Industries are doing what they are and it may even cause you to think differently about the story of Assassin’s Creed.
While I'm not a big fan of being forced to go online to see more of the story, it's always nice to see expanded and improved features. If you enjoyed going online with friends in Brotherhood, chances are, you'll have a great time when Revelations drops in November. Still, we recommend going through the story first because that remains the primary focus of this franchise.
