Sony Online Entertainment Bringing Your Games Back
Along with the return of the Network, there are other reasons to be happy this weekend.
Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) has announced the restoration of its game services. It will be a phased restoration - as is the case with the Network - and this will include "nearly all of SOE's portfolio of online games, the reinstatement of SOE's game forums and websites, and added functionality to require players to reset their passwords." SOE has made enhancements to overall data security, "including updating and adding advanced security technologies, additional software monitoring, performing new penetration and vulnerability testing, and increased levels of encryption." Said Sony boss Kaz Hirai:
"We are committed to delivering secure and entertaining games for players of all ages and thank each of our players for their patience and support during this difficult time."
SOE will offer a "Welcome Back" package that includes special game content and services for all members. Players will also receive an extra 30 days of game time "plus one day for each day SOE's services were down." Find more information at SOE's official site. So...welcome back!

I'll be telling my great-great grand-kids once upon a time there was the famous PSN Black-Out way back.
But, I'll also be telling them that it all was due to some self-absorbed f*cking piss-ant hackers
(although I'll use a kinder-gentler tone with them so I can go on keeping my visitation rights, LOL)

You'd have to transfer your stuff off of your hard drive & then back onto any new HD once it's been all set up, or you'll lose everything because your PS3 will reformat any new HD you put in it. You can use either an external HD, or a flash drive for the transfer if you've got enough GB's on it.
But make sure everything stays in a Fat32 format.
As far as doing the HD swap-out & any instructions that you'll need doing it, it's easy, We have all the directions on how to do it right here on our own forum.
Just click on this link to it.......
