Modern Warfare 3 Reveal Confirmed For May 20?
If you're a PowerUp Rewards member with GameStop, you might already have the official reveal date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Members today received an e-mail that gives you the "tactical advantage" because "the rest of the world won't find out until Friday, May 20." It's not an official announcement in and of itself, but it's a pre-order incentive: if you drop your deposit on the new CoD, you'll receive a GameStop exclusive, two-sided poster "packed with valuable game info." Just out of curiosity, how do you hang a two-sided poster...? Seriously?
Anyway, the date leads us to believe the announcement is just days away. Well, that and the tons of information that has been hitting the Internet over the past few weeks. Modern Warfare 3 is bound to be the biggest title of the year. Oh, just get used to the fact.

looks like will FINALLY have the COD game worth its weight!
looks like getting 3 studios working on it did the trick!
im starting to think antivision did this deliberately, leaked the info so it has a larger effect on BF3 then just coming out and showing it.
everyone gets more excited for leaked info then official info.

If you intend to pick up MW3 that's fine, but your paying for an expensive expansion and glitchy garbage. Now Jawknee and I get to make fun of the CoD sheep this year!

Now kids, when you update an engine you update every aspect of the game, graphically, sound design, everything and when the Developers associated with CoD have publicly stated they will not update the engine, which they SHOULD, because it would be "counter productive" it means BF3 will no doubt be superior. The MW engine is one of if not the worst FPS shooter engine in history, bugs, lag, exploits, awful sound design. So obviously, Activision's blatant stubbornness to keep this engine will continue to doom the current CoD games. So its a step backwards if anything. CoD=Garbage.

MW3 should have unlockable characters or character customization, you should have to unlock attachments not buy them, and a few others.
Still not going to be nearly as fun as BF3 :)

I liked CoD back in the PS2 days. Played Black Ops but found it boring and uninventive after a week. "Get used to the fact" is exactly right and I hope those who like it have fun. All I have is apathy for this series now.
