Extra inFamous 2 Pre-Order Bonuses
The Network outage affected the beta test but Sucker Punch might be trying to compensate by offering more pre-order incentives.
They're adding to the previously revealed incentives, so make sure to pre-order inFamous 2: the new additions include four special items; the Reaper skin that lets Cole dress up as one of his foes from the original title, and three separate in-game weapons. There's Sly's Cane (yeah, Sly Cooper), the caveman club and samurai sword. We have no idea if we'll actually be able to slice our enemies to ribbons, but we definitely want to try. As for the caveman club...that's just funny. You can download all four items thanks to a voucher, which you receive after pre-ordering either the standard or Hero Edition. The latter will cost you $100 but it's jammed full of stuff; the hardcore fan certainly wants it.
And by the way, if you missed out on the first great inFamous experience, it's part of Sony's "Welcome Back" program, so take advantage.

1. I collect statues and busts
2. I want the soundtrack
3. I want all the pre-order incentives
Plus it's only $40 more instead of $90 like some of them and with my best buy gift card and reward zone points I'm only paying $30 out of pocket for the hero edition.
However like I said normally I'd be right there with ya.

Now this is DLC i would pay for, its not necessary to the game, its not something we need, but i want. thats what i'd pay extra for.
Not stuff devs didnt bother putting into the original game that shouldve quite easily been there. Im looking at you activision, £10 for 4 maps that should probably be in the game already. I didnt even own Blops and i was annoyed.
So yeah, the moment that skin winds up on the store, Im buying it.

stores back tuesday hopefully that means will have the demo soon, and more beta invites!
hopefully this is allot better polished then the original!
recently played through it again to recoup my lost saves, and had so many bugs i thought it was a bethesda game!
when i played it at the launch party it was pretty buggy which is a worry because they told us it was review code.
bit of a worry when review code plays like that!

Thank goodness that our trophies can always be retreived, because I just found out that "ALL" of my inFamous game data & game saves have been destroyed, along with well over 50+ other games too......."f*ck, these last 2 month, I just can win.
About a few weeks before my 60 Phat princess red-blinking lighted on me, I had bought a brand new 640GB Western Digital Scorpio Blue HD & installed it in her & then had transferred all my games onto it.
But yesterday, I took my 640 HD out of my now-dead 60 Phat Princess & then put it inside an external HD enclosure so I could save all of my previous game data/saves before swapping it into my new 320GB Slim.
I then tried to transfer all my games data over to mp PC so that I could put it on a USB stick & then transfer it right back to my new PS3 after I was done swapping the 320 HD out of my new slim.
But.....my computer wouldn't recognize my 640 HD, so I figured that maybe the enclosure's internal circuitry might have gone bad.
So I wound up taking it over to Staples to let one one their PC techs(yes, just like BB's Geek Squad) take a look at it to figure the problem.
Unfortunately for me, after testing the enclosure & then the 640 HD separately, he found the problem alright, it was that my brand new 640 HD is now f*cking dead too, just like my old Phattie that it had been inside of.
After tell him about the USPS package-smasher, he said that when my PS3 got hit, dropped, smashed, tortured, and murdered, it must have also shocked my HD, so that's why it's now dead.
I then asked him if anyone can do a data retrieval on my now-dead HD, but he told me that most places won't touch it & the few places that do, charge at least a $1000 & more to mine your HD info for you.
Plus, I had already put my claim in for my murdered Phat Mistress weeks ago(and have heard nothing back yet), so I don't know if I can even add the 640 HD on to the damage claim(with my luck of late, probably not).
"F*cking USPS, I hate your f*cking guts"
Hey Highlander,
any ideas and/or tips on this new fiasco, or am I crapped-out of luck(like I think I am).
