Take-Two Earns Big, Agent And Max Payne 3 Still Coming
Take-Two Interactive is doing very well, thank you very much.
The company already reported their yearly results but they figured they'd reiterate the good news: thanks mostly to last year's popular Red Dead Redemption, Take-Two's net revenue hit $1.14 billion, which is 49% higher than the $763 million they earned during the same period last year, and as for profit, net income came in at $48.46 million for the year. Last year, they lost $123 million. Quite the contrast, yes?
They also confirmed that RDR has now sold over 8.5 million units, although we don't yet have initial sales estimates for the recently released L.A. Noire. On top of which, Take-Two has extended their contract with the publishing label's creative team consisting of Sam Houser, Dan Houser, and Leslie Benzies. The renewal is on a "long-time basis with largely similar economic terms." They've also entered into a new management agreement with ZelnickMedia; if approved by the shareholders, Karl Slatoff will go forward as Take-Two's chief operating officer.
So all you publishers who want a piece of Take-Two...you might have to wait a while. Lastly, Slatoff confirmed that both Agent and Max Payne 3 are still in development, although we don't have estimated release dates just yet. The end result? It's all engines go for Take-Two.

Peace.
P.S. Can't frickin' wait for AGENT. Considering Sony has the IP rights, they'd better pop the lock on that colossal safe of information at E3. Also, it's sweet to know that T2 are hitting it big. Seems to make the chances of a buyout less.

O, and as for the state of origin.......
the blues has NO ONE but themselves to blame!
i mean they get themselves 2 points ahead with 10 minutes to go, then 2 minutes later let the maroons waltz to the finish line!
they always do that, they bust there a$$ to get ahead, then go to sleep and end up behind, then bust there a$$ to get back ahead, then once back ahead they go to sleep.
rinse and repeat till the games over!
there lucky they lost by how much they did, i mean how many times did they drop the ball IN THERE OWN GOAL LINE!!!!!!!!!!
passing a long ball across your goalpost?
this guy must be a freaking moron!
neither side played well, but the mistakes the blues made convinced me i was watching a under 8s game!
funny fight at the end though, was shocked the reff called time off and did not put anyone on report.
one of the worst origin games ive ever seen!
keep playing like that, and not even god and the devil themselves could help us!
O....... not to mention the first maroons try was scored off a forward pass, but eh..........
a ref getting a call wrong?
IMPOSSIBLE!
that never happens!
