Sony Reveals Call Of Duty: Black Ops PS3 Bundle
Maybe it's just a way of saying, "hey, the Network is back online so it's time to play the most popular online game."
Today, Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC has announced the limited edition PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops bundle, which combines a 160GB PS3 system and the "best selling PlayStation 3 title of all time." This package will be available in just a few days time on May 31 and as a bonus, it'll also feature the First Strike Content Pack. The price is sitting pretty at $299.99, which essentially means you're getting Black Ops and the DLC for free. Said SCEA vice president of product marketing, Scott Steinberg:
"PlayStation 3 delivers the ultimate high-definition entertainment experience, offering a built-in Blu-ray player, free online gaming through PlayStation Network and the premiere destination for stereoscopic 3D content. Combining these features with the massive blockbuster that is Call of Duty: Black Ops, a title credited for having the biggest entertainment launch of all time, PlayStation and Activision, have put together an unrivaled entertainment offering for gamers."
Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch added that this bundle is "perfect for anyone looking to bring home an incredible entertainment experience," especially those who have 3D-ready HDTVs. The latest Call of Duty still sits on the top 10 sales charts 6 months after it launched; that should probably tell you something.

But this might not always be the case. As I've said before Michael Pachter recently got to see Uncharted 3 running in 3D and he was totally blown away by what he saw. It does make sense when you think about it. The people at Naughty Dog are like sorcerers when it comes to game development. If anyone can bring 3D gaming to it's full potential, they can.

Sadly I just can't afford it now that I'm out of work.
And besides, my recently thinned-out wallet just sits here constantly taunting me, while smirking at me with that now-empty look that says "I won't be putting out for you anymore".

CallofDuty franchise is not exclusive and neither is the DLC...Well the DLC is time exlusive to 360 for a month b4 the ps3... But honestly it's a smart move from sony since the the game is the best seller of all time and it has the craziest fanbase i've ever seen... And what better way to introduce 360 finatics to ps3 than a free copy of their favorite game... it's a foot in the door to 360 only gamers and once they see the crazy exclusives sony has, they'll be hooked... It's sad i kno ppl that only own 360s and don't kno what is uncharted, resistance, or killzone series

You can get the PS3 wind-up crank as future DLC from Antivision, & for the incredibly low, low, price of 3 easy installments at only $199.99 each.
But if you act right now, you can pay the full price now & save a whopping 10 cents off your shipping order.
So don't delay, call right now.....

(BTW, I wonder if their parents know their ankle-biters are still up playing at 3AM to 6 AM.......or if those parents even care seeing they've let the kids keep their consoles in their own bedrooms without a hint of supervision).

WTF took so long!?
this would be the perfect game to bundle with the ps3 since its, well, its only the best selling piece of entertainment of all time!
plus it has pretty good 3D support.
not great, motorstorm pacific 3D rift, SOCOM 4 and crysis 2 are allot better, but at least its allot better then KZ3s!
i was really disappointed by that.
especially after all the hype and attention the devs gave it, i was expecting allot!
theres not as large a sense of depth, normally 3D games make you feel like you can dive into the screen!
3D games normally lift out of the screen so instead of it looking like your running in the TV it looks like your running towards it.
3D games normally have a popped out HUD, and even further popped out cursor.
3D games normally have heaps of effects popping out, like sparks, fire, particle effects, smoke, dirt, debris, snow, water.
KZ3 had neither of those!
in fact i had to take my glasses off to make sure it was in 3D the effects were so minimal i thought there was something wrong with my TV!

i was really disappointed by it after all the talk they did for it, and saying JC was blown away by it!
best 3D game on ps3 ive played has to be motorstorm pacific 3D rift.
cheapest, and by far the best 3D effects!
wipeout 3D is really cool too, just a few technical glitches that hurt it.
