Ubisoft Delivers More Info For Revelations

If it's related to Assassin's Creed: Revelations, we wanna know about it.

As most of you know, Ezio will travel to Constantinople in the upcoming new franchise installment, and he's following in the footsteps of his ancestor, Altair. But Ubisoft has sent over a few additional details that shed more light on the story and setting:

Ezio is hunting five ancient artifacts that hold the key to the Assassin's brotherhood, and we imagine it'll take some work to obtain all five. During his adventure, he'll come across new characters, such as the master assassin Yusuf Tazim. There's also the possibility of a new love interest for Ezio; her name is Sofia Sorto and although we're unaware of her exact role, we know she "has a little thing" for the Italian assassin.

Also, they reconfirmed the fact that we'll play as Altair during certain sequences, and we'll have new skills and weapons. You've heard of a few before - the upgraded Eagle Sense, bomb making, the hook Blade, etc. - but it seems more unannounced additions are on the way. Revelations is definitely near the top of our priority list for 2011; how about you?

You might have to stick to bite-sized casual-type games during the upcoming sleepless nights.

Best of luck BTW.

Yup! I read that in my GI, I'm a die hard fan of the series and would love for AC:R to be here now, but guess i'll have to contend with InFamous 2, on June 7, which i'm going to be on vacation. I really want to know how Ezio's story finishes, BTW i can assure you that this will be his last, because all the ancestors memories finish at the moment they concieve a child, that's how i know that Altair being in this game is through the INCEPTION thingy, hahaha. Victoria a los Asesinos!

As long as I can jump through shop stands (preferably one that sells burgers or tacos) and grab, punch and throw stringed instrument playing nuisances, I'll be sold.

Yeah, I suppose I have a thing for doing unpermissable public behavior in videogames. That, and videogame food outlets for America's obesity epidemic.

I'm going to ACR first, then UC3 to break up things after...then end with Skyrim as I know thats going to take forever. Probably play that during December or something.

AC may be the only franchise with gameplay I will never tire of. This replaces ME3 as my November must buys that of course included UC3, Skyrim, and maybe...just maybe BF3. I'm all-in in completing Ezio's story and exploring another finely crafted world. If ACR is a step forward like ACB to ACII, then I'm going to love this game even more.

So yeah...I'm freaking excited.

Ubisoft should team up with Team Ninja and have Ryu guest star. Assassins? Ninja? PB? J? They go great together.
The crossover could let Ryu do the fighting and Ezio do the stealthing and shop stand crashing.

Okay, back to reality...

Oh and Ryu, attracts but passes up on the hot chicks. So more for Ezio.
It really would be a mutually beneficial crossover
=p

that would be hillarious and so much more brutal. Make a tie in where ryu is part of the asian assassins guild. Maybe he runs into ezio on an international contract. have the subtlty of Ezio's weapons vs. the brute force of a lot of Ryu's weapons. Co op anyone? lol

November will be a relationship destroyer / strainer...

I am MEGA psyched for:
- AC:R
- COD:MW3
- Unsharted 3
- Dead Island (coming out on bday)
- GTA V (if it's this year)
- infamous 2?

I feel there are more, but can't think of any. so yea. the coming months are gonna be tough. i better get my couch ready since my gf will probably hate me for my chosen invested time...

Oh, this is definitely one of the many must-haves coming out in November, in addition to UC3, Skyrim, and BF3.

Btw, I just saw the teaser for the E3 trailer coming on June 6th, and I must say, its somehow gotten me even more excited for this one. All will be revealed!

this game in 3D on a PC is just breathtaking!
leaping across the cities of rome in such high detail across 3 screens in 3D.
dont get much better then that!
hopefully nvidia pulls there finger out of there a$$ and gets a profile live for this sooner, not the 4 months we had to wait for brotherhood!
