BloodRayne: Betrayal Gameplay: Are You Thirsty For More?
You know, when we heard the new BloodRayne would be a downloadable side-scroller, we were actually kind of excited.
The full 3D action productions in the past have only been average in our estimation, and such a setting and style lends itself well to an old-school hack 'n slash format. Perhaps you'll agree after seeing the first gameplay trailer, which features a whole lot of...uh...hacking, slashing...and blood.
I mean, come on, you can't watch that without being reminded of the good ol' days. The platforming, combat, and art style all seem appealing, and might really pique the interest of those who miss this type of gaming. We've seen a few titles like this on the PSN already (like Shank, for instance), and that's a good thing.
BloodRayne: Betrayal should be ready to go sometime this summer.

I do miss that era, but content with the future and what we have now....it took awhile for Devs to see what this gen was missing, but that magic is slowly creeping back.
