BloodRayne: Betrayal Gameplay: Are You Thirsty For More?

You know, when we heard the new BloodRayne would be a downloadable side-scroller, we were actually kind of excited.

The full 3D action productions in the past have only been average in our estimation, and such a setting and style lends itself well to an old-school hack 'n slash format. Perhaps you'll agree after seeing the first gameplay trailer, which features a whole lot of...uh...hacking, slashing...and blood.

I mean, come on, you can't watch that without being reminded of the good ol' days. The platforming, combat, and art style all seem appealing, and might really pique the interest of those who miss this type of gaming. We've seen a few titles like this on the PSN already (like Shank, for instance), and that's a good thing.

BloodRayne: Betrayal should be ready to go sometime this summer.

Loved Shank, this looks fantastic!

I do miss that era, but content with the future and what we have now....it took awhile for Devs to see what this gen was missing, but that magic is slowly creeping back.

meh depends on the price. Maybe by the time this comes out I'll be able to use Playstation store. I'll keep my eye on this though.

This looks horrendous, was this made on flash? such games have no space for the PS3.

I totally agree. This is *not* what I bought a ps3 for, that's for sure. These kind of games has written "HANDHELD" all over them. You'll find similar stuff in the Android shop for $5.

Nope don't like it too much, maybe they're setting up a full game launch on the main consoles

hey looks pretty good, like Castlevania, I was upset at first but maybe this could lead to the full reboot I want. The games were always mediocre but could have been sweet.

Actually I don't think they appreciate old style side scrollers that much.

Pass on this one... Sorry but I`ve been hankering for a bloodrayne game since beating 2... They were not mediocre... Im still pretty upset over this one but not much can be done I guess. When Bloodrayne 3 is announced then let me know.

Eh, I'll stick with full-budget productions instead of something I could get on the iPad.
