Revelations Teaser: Ezio's Fate Will Be Determined
Assassin's Creed: Revelations should make a big splash at E3 next week.
We've seen the official announcement and a bunch of pertinent details; but now, we want to check out some gameplay. The teaser trailer that popped up today on YouTube doesn't oblige but it still gives us our first look at an older, more determined Ezio. This time around, the storyline appears to be broader in scope, focusing on such things as fate and destiny...
He didn't do a whole lot of probing into his past in last year's Brotherhood, but that's mostly because the Borgia were causing all sorts of problems. Now that Ezio has handled that issue, it's time to examine his own past and arrive at some personal answers. And as you can see, the full reveal trailer is less than a week away: June 7!

Either way, it will rule. -sigh- November is going to be busy. Wonder how Ben copes with so many games.

I don't mind those little pauses, Kanga, in fact I barely notice them. I probably wouldn't have thought about it until you brought it up now, in fact.
As for me, I love the story, I love being stealthy, I love how cool I feel as a sneaky assassin (in fact, I'll restart a memory if I alert someone)... I dunno. I don't think it's nearly as well done as Uncharted or God of War... I mean, no honest person could ever pretend those games aren't the best made games out there... but for some reason, despite me also very much loving Uncharted, I can't help but adore Assassin's Creed. It won me over for best series this gen in terms of which one I liked the best.
What more can a gamer ask for?

The fistfights in LA Noire are better, and those are like fighting by controlling marionette corpses (one of the few parts of the game that doesn't work)

These games are just great. One of the few that my wife and I can enjoy together. She's a huge history buff and loves seeing these historical cities in all their splendor. And she fills in the gaps and gives me even more back story on some of the key historical figures that pop up throughout the game. Makes it that much more enjoyable when I don't need to schedule game time around wife time, she looks forward to me playing AC... and that RULES!
