Deus Ex: Human Revolution E3 Trailer: Tons Of Drama
Sci-fi fans, RPG fans, action/adventure fans...all of them might be intrigued by Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
We will see the long-awaited return of this critically acclaimed franchise on August 23 and the E3 2011 trailer is here. "This Ends Now" paints a dramatic picture of the game's futuristic storyline; as usual, Deus Ex is about human progression and advancement gone wrong. And of course, there's only one man who can stop an evil corporation...
Not a bad theatrical trailer. I've always liked these games; the freedom involved, combined with the role-playing and shooter elements makes for an engrossing experience. Provided Eidos Montreal gives us a great plot and solid, reliable gameplay, Human Revolution should be a winner.

It's just, in 2011 I kinda expect more than these doll faces, especially from what seems to be more or less taken from cutscenes (the talk scenes, that is).

This is my most anticipated game of the year to be honest, mostly because I really enjoy the themes of it. The only thing that can make this any better is if science could start implementing some of these biohacks.
Still waiting on the singularity.

It certainly does look impressive, but there's only so much money a person can spend on games. Many of these will have to wait for half price sale or something.

My personal checklist contains:
Infamous 2, Alice Madness Returns, Fear 3 (coop), Deux Ex, Saints Row 3 (coop), Resistance 3 (coop), Spider-Man: Edge Of Time, Darkness II, Ratchet&Clank (coop), Batman, Battlefield 3, Dead Island (4 player coop)...
The pure single player games will probably have to wait for a price drop, but the coop games, if good, is quite possibly d1p.
... + BioShock, Mass Effect and Dragon Age so far in 2012!
