NGP Launch Titles Confirmed, Golden Abyss Leads
The rumored software launch list for the NGP appears to be accurate.
The first official confirmations have arrived and leading the pack is Uncharted: Golden Abyss: it'll boast an all-new story that isn't a sequel or "direct prequel" to the Uncharted franchise on the PlayStation 3. Bend Studio's creative director Josh Garvin said they spent a solid 6 months working on different plots for the game, and then pitched their ideas to developer Naughty Dog. The game will focus on a currently undiscovered "historical mystery" in Central America, and the gameplay will be more about puzzle solving.
They're saying the combat and overall control scheme will be "familiar" but of course, they'll take advantage of the NGP's unique capabilities (front- and rear-touch panels, tilt control, and cameras). In addition, Sony confirmed Wipeout 2048, in development at Sony's Liverpool Studio. It'll offer cross-play with Wipeout HD Fury on the PS3 thanks to the NGP's cross-play feature. We'll also get fictionalized future versions of New York City, which will have wider tracks to allow for more fighting during races.
Lastly, Sony confirmed Little Deviants, Super Stardust Delta, Hustle Kings, Hot Shots Golf, and Jonathan Mak's Sound Shapes, along with an all-new title, Reality Fighters. The latter will utilize the NGP's augmented reality functionality, so that ought to be intriguing.

THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
one thing we need more of in games is puzzles!
what happened to the good old days where games were saturated in them?
one of my biggest gripes with GOW3 was the puzzles, 1 and 2 are infamous for them but 3 had barely any!
the staircase of hades will ALWAYS be remembered in video game history!
GOW3 though, well what is there to remember?
its like a hotel in Germany everything so nice clean and efficient, but you dont go there you go to Italy or spain or somewhere else, because it has that flair, that something that you will remember forever!

On topic the line up for the NGP, Vita, PSP2, whatever, sounds extremely solid. But where is the Ridge Racer?
