E3 2011: Ninja Gaiden III Does Battle In Early 2012
The release dates - and estimated release windows - just keep coming at E3.
After unveiling Ninja Gaiden: Razor's Edge for the new Wii U, Tecmo Koei revealed a launch window for Ninja Gaiden III, which is in development for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. They've given the highly anticipated action slasher a tentative release of "early 2012," which may not sound like much but it's a definite upgrade from the previous "TBA 2012." Ryu is coming back and with a new emphasis on story, we'll find out what makes this superhero-like ninja "fight, defend and kill." As fans of the series expect, the game will boast a ton of combat, online multiplayer (both co-op and competitive), and what appears to be a fair amount of blood. But can you handle the challenge?
Remember, the designers have confirmed that they aren't softening up; NGIII will be just as difficult as past entries, so flex those fingers...

"Begin the countdown! All you muthaf*ckas are gonna die! Online multiplayer? I'm gonna kill all of them, and I'm gonna kill all of you, and I will master the mysteries of Ryu and dominate in battle to a degree never before seen."
There that should cover it :)

No, of course I'm happy, this is for me a pretty good franchise, and looking forward to play it (or should I say SLAY IT!), and this time I'll be going for the platinum no matter what.
LOL at Kevin5, "that hellish difficulty that requires the patience of a monk". Totally agree with you on that one.
And to Alienange, man you sure this game only appeals to 20 persons?? You have to be kidding me. I remember the days when I played it in Nintendo, it was so much fun. And for a franchise to survive all this years, I'm sure they are not only selling them to 20 gamers...

When I analyze elements about the game changes thoughts keep running through my head, thinking Itagaki wouldn't have done that from a design standpoint. Anyway, I'd be lying if I didn't admit to wanting to take a stab with this one. I'm just real apprehensive about the new direction.

Yeah I have to agree with you in a way they say this as if it is something really really important yet the only thing they have offer for this concept (from what I've seen) is quick timed events, in which case they took out the dismemberment.
Like why can't we have both why take out one for the other.
