Brink DLC Will Be Free For Two Weeks
Despite a lukewarm critical reception, Brink is doing well on the sales charts.
And that means a great many people will be anticipating the game's first batch of downloadable content. Splash Damage has revealed the DLC: it's called Agents of Change and it'll boast five new player skills, two new environments, two new maps, and two new weapon attachments. Plus, a new incoming update will offer online optimizations, AI enhancements and weapon balance tweaks, all of which was based on player feedback. But here's the best part- that DLC will be free to everyone for the first two weeks of availability. The aforementioned update is already out for PC users and will hit consoles this week or next, and the DLC should be ready in July. So, as soon as you see it hit the PSN, XBLA, or Steam, grab Agents of Change free of charge! Saving money is good.

I had just put a 640GB in my old Phat 60GB Princess two weeks before the USPS smashed it & also destroyed my new HD drive in the process too.
And then I was told by a computer tech that it would cost me well over a $1000 to have a data-retrieval company recover all my lost data.
Now I'm stuck with 50+ game saved over a 2-year period on a brand new now-dead 60 drive & now I have no idea(or money due to being laid off) on how to retrieve them.....
or if I'll ever be able to. F*CK!

With your bigger drive, did/do you ever get the error when you try to start up that says "cannot start, the correct hard disk was not found" I just have to turn it off and turn in back on, but sometimes it takes 2-3 times of doing that just to get it to work. I personally think it either is a semi-faulty hard drive, or the the PS3 doesn't have enough start up power/voltage/wattage to run the 500GB and has to "warm up" for lack of a better phrase. I've only put the 500GB in the launch 60GB so maybe it is just something specific to those old phat ones.

Nahh, never had that problem, I put it in, formatted it & away I went, no problem at all.
But if I remember right, there's some hard drive manufacturer's that stuff acts buggy in the PS3, & even Highlander had troubles with one that he put in, so he had to buy another, & just stuck with the name-brand guys this time.
And after hearing that, I was worried about that too, so I stuck with a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 5400RPM model for my upgrade, model# WD6400BEVT(I had found it on sale at Amazon for $70).
BTW, as far as HD models go, my original (February 2007 build-date) Phat came with a 60GB Seagate HD, & my brand new Slim Move bundle I just bought came with a 320GB Toshiba HD.

I get that error all the time. My 500 GB drive is a Seagate, which I thought would be safe, since the 60 GB drive in my PS3 was one, but no such luck. My dad's 500 GB drive (installed in a 40) doesn't get the error.
I also get a lot of stuttering when the PS3 accesses the HDD while playing video or cut scenes (Qore and KZ 2 are bad examples). I think the drive's internal cache is small / slow.
I have had to swap the drive in and out a number of times, so I may have slightly damaged it.
I'd buy a new drive, but the prospect of re-installing everything again is too daunting. Plus, I have no money.

fix your broken buggy game, then will talk about DLC!
bethesda should be banned from making games till they learn how to debug them before release!
sick of paying 120 bucks for there games, and not being able to play them for weeks!
grabbed fallout new vegas a few weeks ago since there were no new releases, my lord its just as bugy as it was on release!
even after 8 patches i think it was, it was still freezing, falling through solids, stuttering, freezing on loading screens.
only bethesda could release such a unfinished mess!
serve fallout new vegas to a dog, and he would say WTF is this sh*t!?
