Rumor: Limbo Headed To The PSN
Update: It has been confirmed that Limbo will hit the PSN in July. Yay!
Original Story:
Third-party exclusivity is going the way of the dodo, as yet another former exclusive may see a fresh debut on a new platform.
Limbo is one of the best downloadable titles on the Xbox Live service but according to Game Set Watch, the Korean Game Rating Board has listed Playdead's intriguing, innovative title for the PlayStation 3. This is a 2D platformer where the main character is a child who must work his way through a black-and-white world loaded with perils. There are puzzles and other obstacles involved, and the end result landed quite a few various awards. Now, take this with a grain of salt, but the German rating board leaked the fact that Braid would end up coming to the PlayStation Network, and the more digital gems available on the PSN, the better. We're certainly looking forward to Thatgamecompany's Journey later this year. Yeah, we're big fans of innovation.
And if Limbo shows up, too, that's just more good news. If you've already played it on the 360, would you recommend it to PS3 owners?

However, I am wary of over-hyped Xbox 360 timed exclusives. The paid off "journalists" love to over-hype any MS game, regardless of whether it's a retail or downloadable game. I finally play Braid and I wondered what's so awesome about it. It's very good but these "journalists" thought it was the greatest game ever made.

The 3 best Live games are now on PSN, Braid, Castle Crashers and now Limbo. Only thing missing is Shadow Complex and Perfect Dark, but they're to remain 360 exclusive.
Nice to see PSN is getting Limbo and all the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games. Shame our 360 friends can't experience Final Fantasy VI - IX, but then again, I doubt those gun-loving nuts would appreciate those old-school RPG's.
