Arkham City Gameplay: Catwoman And Batman Combat
When October rolls around, there will once again be a ton of great titles hitting store shelves.
Unless you have a larger cash flow than most, you'll have to prioritize. The difficult question, "Which ones do I get, and which games will have to wait?" must be answered somehow. Well, if you've already resolved to purchase Batman: Arkham City, this new gameplay video will vindicate your decision. If you had the game on your "wait" list, well...sorry.
We get to see Catwoman before Batman, and we're loving the combat for both; Catwoman is crazy fast and agile, while the Caped Crusader is just as powerful and effective as ever. There's just so much to love about Arkham City; have you already forgotten the greatness of Arkham Asylum?

they have not been showing off much of the gameplay, and wheres the detective work?
the dark night is the greatest detective to ever walk the face of the earth!
the biggest complaint everyone had with arkham asylum is exactly that, the detective work, the simplicity, and lack of it.
so you would think they would come flying out of the gates with massively improved detective work........ but you would think wrong!
come on rocksteady, batman is not all about kicking a$$!
hes also about solving puzzles, and tracking down criminals.
so why have all the trailers focused on only one of those things?
this is batman, not the hulk!
if i want to go beating guys up ill go play a fighting game, i play batman games for the gadgets, stealth and puzzles.
so where are they?

This just went from "wait for price drop" to D1P for me!!! Was gonna move the 10 bucks I had on it towards my ICO / SotC preorder, but I'm sure that extra $10 won't hurt.
This and Battlefield 3 were all I planned on getting in October. RAGE might end up being the one I wait for in terms of price drop. Am limiting myself to 2 games per month now that I'm saving my hard-earned money.
Plus, with nothing much til September, I got plenty of time to catch up on my massive backlog.
