Catherine US Demo Set For July 12, New Nightmare Trailer

Catherine will entice and challenge on July 26, but US gamers will get a chance to sample it a couple weeks early.

Firstly, Atlus has sent over a new video, which introduces us to a "growing phenomenon" with which the protagonist, Vincent, must contend. See, every time he goes to sleep, he's in the midst of these terrifying nightmares, and he must climb up before he plummets to his death. This is where the puzzle action comes into play, by the way. Plus, other men seem to be suffering similar problems...

Furthermore, a demo will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users on July 12. This will let you see the main characters, check out the stunning anime cinematography, and get a shot at solving those tough, unique puzzles. Oh, and even if you already downloaded the Japanese demo, you might want to check this out, as it'll boast the English character voices.

We have high hopes for this original production; Atlus obviously put a very special emphasis on the storyline and atmosphere.

Awesome, I'll be checking this out and most likely getting it for my birthday which is a few days after release.

Funny he asked about having a dream where you die, I recently had one where I died and the storyline just continued without me. Like Heavy Rain.

This game looks nuts and it looks like it'll be a fun time as well. Hooray for Atlus!

Unfurtunately, this games gonna have to wait for me, or rather I'm gonna have to wait for this game.

Crappy job will only allow a game if I save up for it little by little.
But in a state with such high unemployment rates, I'm just thankful I hav a job.

Especially one that still grants me enough money to pay rent, support my fiance and son, and save up for a game.

Anyways though, looks like I'm gonna be hittin the demo for awhile. I can't wait, this game is definately interesting looking, and it seems like it'll be really fun.

what happened to the good old days where demos were released a month+ in advance?
R3 or GOW3 for example they had demos months before release!
GOW3 had demo codes provided in the HD GOW collection in november 4 months before release!
R3s demo is out in the BFLA bluray movie, released last month and R3 is not out till september, 3 months away!

oh well, wanted to give it a try but its too late now.
got rid of my old ps3 today have not touched it in months and got a wii, dying to give epic mickey and DKCR a try!

Wait... you got rid of your old PS3, and now you can't d/l the demo? So do you have no PS3? Or only one that you don't take online? And by the way, we would be playing the demo months in advance if we were to download it from the store, as Catherine ISN'T BLOODY WELL BEING RELEASED HERE (yet?) (outrage provided by LAMS, and not directed at Anon :D)!

no, well yes, both.
no because i got my new wii so im spending all my time playing DKCR, epic mickey, ect, ect.
yes though because even if i had the time to enjoy it, i would not be able to download it because ive wasted so much of my DL usage on the uncharted 3 beta.

I wonder if they'll work in some alternate endings like Persona does. Katherine - Catherine - neither? :( I'm worried for Vincent.

I was gonna buy this again (got Jap version), but I figured I need to save more money for Uncharted 3, Batman, Darkness 2, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations, so I thought I better let it go.
