Arkham City CE Pops Up At Best Buy

If you were a big fan of Batman: Arkham Asylum, the follow-up title is definitely near the top of your priority list.

And if you're a true superhero follower, you're going to need the Collector's Edition. Although it hasn't been officially unveiled, Best Buy has CE listings for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

It's priced at $99.99 and will boast all sorts of bonus content. ...the only problem is, we aren't aware of those items. However, we're willing to take a few guesses: behind-the-scenes stuff, a soundtrack, maybe a figurine, and a piece of downloadable content. We're not about to make any predictions but chances are, it'll be a fairly standard Collector's Edition.

What do you want to see in such a package? And what would make you buy it for that $100 price tag?

Tempting but I think Uncharted 3 is going to be the final collectors edition I get this year.

I'm just hoping that rocksteady is going to show some love for the PS3 version again like they did with AA. As for the CE for the game I'll wait and see.

I doubt it'll be included in the package, but I read awhile ago on gr that a 3rd party company was gonna make special edition batarang shaped 360 and ds3 controllers.

The ds3 one will have the 360 layout ( joy sticks won't be horizontal to each other, but diagonal like the 360's ). And it won't require any aa or aaa batteries. Instead, you charge it just like a normal ds3 controller.

Already pre-ordered the standard edition. Don't have the money to be buying collector editions of games, $60 is enough as it is.

No cape. I would be tempted to climb a high building, put on the cape and yell "I AM BATMAN!!!" And then jump off breaking my leg like a dumba$$.
