Call Of Duty Ticket Information, Event Map Released
If you plan on attending the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles in September, you're going to need the ticket information.
Activision has released that today, along with this nifty event map that gives you a bird's-eye view of the complex. This $1 million tournament (with all proceeds going to the Call of Duty Endowment charity) features everything from a full-scale replica of a CoD multiplayer map - in which attendees can throw down with some paintball fun - to "AAA talent" that'll close out the proceedings.
Call of Duty XP tickets go on sale on July 19 at 10 a.m. PST, and you can find all the purchase info and map details at the official site. The ticket price is $150 and that covers both days; the cost of admission gives you access to all events and activities; you just have to pay for your own snacks. Oh, and they're not going to pay for you to travel there, either. It's an amusement park, really.
You must be 18 years of age and come with a valid photo ID and because Call of Duty XP will be filmed, "attendees grant permission to include their likenesses, images and voices in such filming." You'll also have to sign a release that frees up the organizers from any responsibility if you hurt yourself somehow.
Have fun!

I would love to see some footage of this event online. I'll bet it will be good for some laughs.

That does sound neat though. Still nowhere near being remotely sold on MW3. It doesn't look appealing. But $150? No thanks.
