Child Of Eden PS3 Slated To Arrive On September 20

It's one of the most original titles of the generation and although it debuted on the Xbox 360, it will eventually come to the PlayStation 3.

Q Entertainment's Child of Eden will launch on Sony's machine on September 20 in North America, and three days later in Europe. As the 360 version featured Kinect support, the PS3 version will boast PlayStation Move functionality.

Unfortunately, the game only sold 34,000 copies during its debut month, so we're hoping PS3 fans appreciate Tetsuya Mizuguchi's unique experience. If you were a fan of Rez, one of the most beloved cult classics of last generation, you're likely on board to try Child of Eden. There is a storyline, by the way: gamers have to rescue the embattled Project Lumi, a program designed to "reproduce a human personality inside Eden." But there's a virus and you gotta deal with it.

At any rate, we're looking forward to trying it.

Yes! None of my friends that have 360's have even heard of this game so I'm happy that it's coming to PSN.

Er, I'm not sure it's coming to PSN, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a disk-based release.

But on the game itself, from what I've seen it looks great and I wouldn't mind playing it, of course by the time I get back to my PS3 next year I'm gonna have such an enormous backlog that I don't know if I'll get to it.

Fine fine. You work 14 hours straight and see if you get all your facts straight, lol. Still I'm happy it's coming to the PS3.

Ben, can I request that you delete my duplicate posts? I'm having internet problems right now and couldn't keep a decent signal long enough to change them. Sorry.

I just beat Shadows, it wasn't very good, I'm selling it post haste. It did make me laugh a few times though.

I would give it 7.6. Lots of nasty pop in, plenty of screen tearing, poor graphical presentation, extremely confined maps, I could go on but it isn't all bad. The gameplay is pretty tight, the action never lets you down, the voice acting is good, and it's pretty imaginative (if completely weird).

bought this for my 360 a while ago, got bored of it after a few minutes.
too simplistic, and probably the most repetitive game i have EVER played!
for once, can we have a game where each level is not a copy of the last?
just once!?

It didn't sell well cos it was too expensive.

I want to try it, I really want to, epecially since there's few good Kinect games, but I'm waiting for a BIG price reduction first.

Love the art direction, love the gameplay mechanics being relatively old-school yet still refined for today's tastes.

I want to play this game, but I just can't afford to for now.

Such a shame that innovation like Child of Eden doesn't sell well but millions of gamers will buy "Generic First-Person Shooter" every year. Such a shame.

Hey, hey, hey. Before y'all get up in arms about this one, you should take note of the fact that it is releasing on PS3 at $20USD on day 1. I mean DAMN! that's some good pricing.

Proportionate pricing for a game? Unheard of!
