Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition Officially Detailed
There have been plenty of rumors concerning a Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition, but now it has been officially revealed.
Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced details for the aforementioned Collector's Edition. It'll be available in "limited quantities" and feature all sorts of collectible goodies. Priced at $99.99, it's the perfect holiday gift for the avid superhero fan.
- Custom Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya
- Collectible art book
- Early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns skin
- Batman: Arkham City album from WaterTower Music including original songs by hit artists, available via digital redemption
- Bonus DC Universe animated original movie, Batman: Gotham Knight
The listing had been on GameStop for a few weeks but it never confirmed the contents of the bundle. It does now, of course, so feel free to head on over and place your deposit on one of the year's most anticipated titles. Both the standard and collector's editions for the game will be available on October 18 in North America and October 21 in the UK.

the ACB codex edition had a leather diary, playing cards, poster, postage cards, really cool codex box styled like those in the game, and countless DLC items for the exact same price.
im really starting to get sick of LEs, there either really expensive, or lack the content, or in the KZ3 hig edition both.
only LEs ive bought this gen that i can honestly say were worth it were the GT5 sig edition (although a bit pricey), the ACB codex edition, the AC2 black edition, and the crysis 2 nano edition.
that ones by far my favorite, you get a massive figurine of your character ontop of a smashed taxi and the taxi and suit lights up.
you get a massive art book instead of the tiny ones most games give you, like the MK one.
you get a really cool holographic case, and a special print disk different to the LE and normal editions.
only special/ limited edition ive ever bought that really impressed me, especially the detail on the nano suit and plastic gun, they look freaking real!
unlike the KZ3 hig edition for example where the hig helmet looks as plain as possible, and as cheap as possible.
