Developers Show Off Stealthy Side Of Human Revolution
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will launch on August 23 and as the long-time fans know, it's all about choice.
Your character can learn all sorts of abilities and techniques, and it's up to you to shape his style. If you want to turn the game into a run 'n gun action/adventure, you can do that. But if you'd rather play it cool and operate from the shadows, you'll have to upgrade skills that enhance your stealthy aptitude. In the latest developer diary, they talk about stealth tactics:
Very cool. By the way, the first few reviews have already hit the Internet; PC Gamer, for instance, awarded the game a very high score of 94. If you've been following the series from the moment the original captured the hearts of gamers and critics, you're not surprised. Really, this hybrid action/RPG has always had its very own flair.
Yeah, Bioshock is pretty close in terms of gameplay. But Deus Ex is Deus Ex, damnit.

With a legendary predecessor that created many a memory for me, only i can truly see if it holds up due to it being personal.....that and the fact that most "critics" have been a laughing stock this gen, of course.
Very excited nonetheless. The video was good, if not a bit violent....but i guess that is an option. Good stuff.

you can also talk yourself into areas, instead of spending 20 minutes sneaking in.
its really hard though, its not like sweet talking or anything like that, you really need to think about what your saying and how it could be interpreted.

Just a suggestion here,
Since DE:Invisible Wars was actually the 2nd DE, you should start with the best "DE" so far, which is "DE: The Conspiracy"(2002 for the PS2) which was their very 1st console DE.(with over 140 GOTY & top game awards).
Also, you can get "Project Snowblind"(2005 for original xbox) which was actually supposed to be DE:#3, but they decided to make it as it's own stand-alone game, complete with a Multi-player.
And since it has the same stealth, shooting, bio-augmentation, conspiracy, & stealth that the all other DE's also had, it's often called by many DE buffs, as being the true spiritual successor to the DE franchise so far.
I own them all, except for the PC versions.

if you want to go stealth then you have to upgrade your args.
so what if you want to play stealth on the first few levels where you have not had enough time to build up enough points to purchase them?
thats another problem, they take FOREVER to save up for!
it takes so long to build up enough xp to gain 1 point, and allot of args require 3 or more to unlock.
again its giving me 20 cents to pay the weekly bills!
