When Will Hideo Kojima Reveal His Mystery Project?
See Full ImageYeah, we know the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is coming. But damnit, what's next for Hideo Kojima?
The rumors continue to swirl concerning the master's new project and now, it appears he's back to work on it...whatever it might be. He refuses to give any confirmed details but perhaps you can gather something from his latest update:
"Back to work on a project after a while. Surprisingly, I forgot the details. Asked for the old notes to check and adjust the consistency again. Cannot work on the side, so decided to concentrate on another day."
Sounds about right. If he can't focus all his efforts, he won't give in to "half-assery;" he'll just stop and try another day. But the big question remains: what is this project? Is it a new MGS? It's not Rising and the long-time fans are definitely hoping for Zone of the Enders 3. Then again, we could always use an official MGS5 (and not another portable entry). So what do you want to see from Kojima?

trophies would have been great and added some replay value to an already short game.
i will say whatever game he makes i will be there day 1. he is the reason i first got into the playsation brand in the first place. i saw mgs and just decided i had to have that game. went out and bought my first console and have been loyal to sony since. i am looking forward to mgs hd collection a lot since i have not had the chance to play peacwalker yet.

I'm not sure what the chances are of it being the MGS(1) remake. I'm thinking pretty low but Ive heard multiple times that it is/could be coming. I hope it comes at one point. Same with the MG and MG2:Solid snake I'm wanting.
I really want a true MGS5, Now way PW will get away with that. But I don't think that this project will be that. Unless he knows something we don't(PS4 coming 2013) I want to see MGS5 come as a PS4 launch title. It will get many people to make the move in the next gen.
What ever it is, I'm interested. The only games I have played of his have been MGS-Greatest franchise EVER but with it being such the masterpiece and his name on my favorite games to date. sign me up!!!

Anyway, it's great to see that he's doing something. I'm thinking that it'll be either ZoE 3, Castlevania:LoS sequel or something entirely new. I'm cool with any of the three, which reminds me to keep an eye out for C:LoS going cheap next time I'm in the city.

plus it has one of best endings i have seen in a game. a real holy sh!t ending, but in a good way. i can't wait for the next game which i believe has already been confirmed.

Anyhow, though I would love it to be a new ZOE title, it probably isn't- I'm sure they'll see how the HD collection sells before committing to THAT...
