Bungie Talks Mystery Project, Working Title Of "Tiger"

Bungie has a 10-year exclusive publishing deal with Activision, and we know they've got a new multiplatform project in the works.

But what else do we know? Well, the most we've ever seen has just been released in this "O Brave New World" video (it's an hour long, so brace yourself), where the developers start off by talking about their new endeavor. It's like "starting over," they say; it's going from having the surest thing in the world in Halo to something completely unproven and untested.

It'll run on an all-new engine and rumors have stated that it's similar to a MMO. Right now, it has the working title of "Tiger" and boasts a somewhat familiar logo... In the video, Bungie adds more weight to the MMO rumor, saying the new game doesn't tell an "isolated story," but it takes on "a life of its own." They also say the game will "become more the fans' than it is ours." Now, that logo was first seen a few months ago with dummy corporation Podophobia Entertainment filed a trademark for "Destiny," also rumored to be a MMO FPS. Anyway, here's the video:

Whatever Bungie is working on is guaranteed to get a ton of attention, and maybe we'll see an official unveiling before the year is out. It's hard to gauge their progress right now, but we're guessing they're further along than we all think. ...Activision needs their big multiplatform blockbusters.

That was a cool background of Bungie. I wasnt a huge halo fan but i did own an Xbox360 for sometime before my PS3. Just goes to show that if you have a dream, no matter how little you have you can come out on top in the end. All depends on how hard you push yourself.

I'll try to give them the benefit of the doubt even if they did jump from one evil corporation to another. Still though, MMO = no go.

Damn, seeing all the trials & tribulations Bungie went through was well worth the price of admission for that 55 minute length of Halo's history.

Let's hope anti-vision doesn't thwart & stifle Bungie's future goals & inspirations.

I'm interested to see what Bungie comes up with for the Masses.
It's just a shame that they're with Activision! That alone ruins it all for me. The Boycott is still in effect!

If this is an MMO, they can jam it. If it's anything else, I may look into it.

thats one thing i cant understand about bungie.
they left M$ simply because they wanted to do something different and all M$ wanted them to work on was halo.
so they leave, then dive back into the same genre!
ok its obviously not halo but if your bored of doing a game then you would think they would want to try something different.
after working on the same thing for so many years how can you not get sick of it!?
id love to see bungie try something different.
does not matter what as long as its not a SCIFI shooter!
