BioWare: DAII Legacy DLC Proves We've Been Listening
We say Dragon Age II was great, but it wasn't the elite role-playing experience we always expect from BioWare.
But you know, the developers have often said they've listened carefully to fan feedback (or perhaps it's more accurate to call it "backlash"), and the new Legacy DLC is an example of that. In speaking to the BioWare community, lead designer Mike Laidlaw said the developers are convinced "there's a game out there that's better than both Origins and DAII." And he's pretty sure the team can find it.
And in regards to Legacy, Laidlaw says that proves BioWare has been listening:
"Legacy, I think, goes a long way towards demonstrating that we are listening, that we are aware of the weaknesses of DAII, and that we will continue to address them."
He went on to say that "reasonable, passionate feedback is the best possible thing to provide" and that the design team has found such feedback "incredibly useful." Now, Legacy add-on content is all well and good, but we have to assume that we'll see the changes we want to see in Dragon Age III. It's not complicated, really. From an RPG fan's standpoint, we just want...well, an RPG. Not role-playing Lite.

what a surprise ea featuring some overpriced dlc. they have been very good at that, and also the biggest offenders out there concerning day 1 dlc. short games spammed with early dlc is one of my biggest gripes of this gen.

so i would say ff10 was the last great ff game even though 10-2 had a great combat system as well. ff12 strayed too far into mmo territory and such dull charcters it ranks as my least favorite.
13 i liked but did not love. that's a good way of putting it.

if theres any developer out there who listens to their fans and tries to appease them its bioware.
tis probably why apparently the next OXM mag will have the first details on ME3s MP modes!
id rather the series stay strictly campaign only, but i guess you cant fight the trends.

It would actually be a worlds first, afaik. But if there is one company that can pull it off, I put my money on BioWare.
