Meet New And Returning Characters In White Knight Chronicles II

When it comes to role-playing games, characters are immensely important.

And that's why we've been introduced to the characters in the upcoming White Knight Chronicles II at the PlayStation Blog. They go over all the new and returning faces we'll encounter in our fantastic quest; we learn more about Scardigne, Leonard, Miu, Cisna, Yuli, Caeser, and Grazel. If you're an RPG fan and you intend to pick up WKCII this fall, you might want to read up on each character; it gives us a peek at the storyline, you know? Unfortunately, they still haven't given us a finalized launch date. The game was initially set for August 2 but has since been delayed; most expect it to arrive in September and we're really hoping that's true. ...if it releases in October, it's bound to get lost in the immense shuffle.

As soon as we hear a launch date, we'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, cross your fingers for "sooner rather than later."

This first game was awesome, and I'm sure this one will blow it out of the water.

I'm glad to see som more news about wkc-duece though, andasfar as I know ben, the 13th of september is still the "it" day for its release. Gamestop already has this game up for pre-order, not saying much but its still a little hope.

I was really upset that it got delayed, but itwill be well worth the wait, I'm sure.
I'm especially stoked that you can now quest off-line with sp characters to help you out. As I have no net, ill be utilizing the sh*t out of that feature.

Well, when I get some net, I hope to see some psxe memeber's on geonet.

Gamestop and retailer placeholder dates dont count as official dates.. however Ben the official date was announced today... on both the Blog you linked too (check the replies in the comments section) as well as on D3publishers official White Knight Chronicles 2 facebook page and it is infect Sept 13th.

As for you who hasnt played WKC1 before... WKC2 comes with WKC1 on the disc so if you get part 2 you get both games for the price of one.

Can't wait for this one, I'm really tempted to replay WKC but I'm gonna wait and do it when the second arrives for the improved experience.

I hope we get some kind of pre-order incentive alongside a finalized release date because I'm pre-ordering anyway.

gamestop has an exclusive pre order bonus... you get white knight armor for your avatar (basically equipment you can put on your avatar that makes him look like the white knight)

I beat both of you to it. Duo just re-confirmed it.

I kind of want to pre-order it, but I don't live near a gamestop and I'm not gonna wait anymore than I already have. So its lookin like I'm gonna get d1p from wally-world. Besides, I already got me a clear save data for the power rangers costumes for this game. You get them by having clear data from the psp wkc.

I just found me a game save though.

either way, i gotta beat wkc again so i have a good clear save file. besides, do you really think i'll mind if someone else reported the release date earlier than me? all i know is when i saw that comment i know what i'll be doing by sept 13. preorder from gamestop, get the preorder bonus, return, then get it at best buy using the gift card i got. hahaha

World,

From what I've come to understand, is that these "power rangers" costumes are more like an armor skin, its really an accesorrie, like a cape, a rind, or earrings. And you equip them as such, but I guess when you equip on it kind of puts this "skin" over your armor, and depending on which one makes you look like a power ranger, er kind of. Ill have to find the page I found, something about wkc2 green power ranger outfit, you can prolly find it with goodle and see what I'm talking about, I swear I'm not crazy.

But yeahr,the games not state side, like I said, I found that page talking about the "outfits" and if you scroll through all. The lil comments, I believe one of them is either a save data from someones copy, or a link to someones copy of their save data, then you just link that data to your wkc2 game, and you get the outfits.

All I did was go into my flash drrive, make the 3 folders I needed for psp game saves, and put the wkc origins ( I think that was the name of the psp game ) into the appropriate folder, and now I got it. Whether or not it works, is yet to be seen. But when I get wkc2, ill be sure and let you know bud.

That's pretty funny, are the Power Rangers still around? You might have trouble getting the localized game to see any Japanese save files and recognize them though.

Actually world, the guy who played the original green ranger, and then later the white ranger is doing mms, so he's around in a sense. As for the power rangers themselves, don't they come up with a new iteration every couple of years or so? I think I've seen a few, mystical ninjas, or jungle force or whatever.

And by seen a few, I mean I've seen them advertised on whatever channel plays dbz kai.

And the save I got is actually a uk save file. I read in the comments section of that page that uk save file for wkc origins (?) Should work for a us copy of wkc2, if not its no biggie. I'm sure id be able to find a us save when that game hits the us, if it does.

I really want to play the first one, BUT since WKC:II is coming with the first game along with everything "remastered" im just gonna wait to buy the second one.
2 games for $60? Can you say winning? Im excited for the single player along with the online extras. Ive been wanting to get into an MMO again but my computer sadly is crap haha. Maybe "santa" will get me a nice new one for Xmas along with Diablo III

I am curious about this game, But I have heard so much negativty over it, many have complained at the story adn from what I have seen of ther gameplay it seems really slow. It's like FFXII Where you select your attack then you have to wait. Unlike other FF games you had to wait before then attack, which I prefered... It does make a big difference.

umm huh? you attack instantly after you select attack.. I dunno what videos youve been watching,.. and combat is much faster and much improved over the first game

EB Games last time I checked had it at september 20, but that probably isn't final if the publisher hasn't said anything.

EDIT: also just checked that ps blog link and the ps staff that published it (Miki Takahashi) has September 13 in the comments.
