Select PSN Movie Rentals Fall To Attractive Prices
Sony is cutting prices left and right. After announcing the PS3 price cut and a cheaper Wi-Fi-less PSP for Europe, we learn about cheaper movies on the PlayStation Network.
As of now, PSN users in both US and Canada can download and watch a wide range of films in standard definition for only $.99. If you want the high-definition versions, the cost is $1.99. Movies that are part of this new initiative will rotate from week to week, with new titles showing up during normally scheduled Tuesday updates. Here's what's available for the attractive new download prices for the week of August 16 - 22:
- Sicko
- The Longshots
- Salvage
- Tony
- Shank
- Bonded By Blood
- JFK: Reckless Youth (Part 1)
- JFK: Reckless Youth (Part 2)
- Deadly Blessing
- Carver
- Devil in the Flesh 2 (aka Teacher's Pet 2)
- Illuminating Angels & Demons
During the summer drought (which is almost over, by the way), you might have to check out a few movies to tide you over. And besides, it's always nice to have cheap film options on the PSN; we're more likely to click and download, right?
