Revelations Ultimate Bundle Stuffed With Fantastic Content

Every year, Ubisoft produces an enviable collector's edition for their new Assassin's Creed entry.

This year is no different, as GameStop has listed the Assassin's Creed: Revelations Ultimate Bundle, which is priced at $99.99 and features plenty of attractive goodies.

For the extra $40, you will receive a bonus single-player gameplay mission, an exclusive multiplayer character, three weapon capacity upgrades, and even an animated short film. But it doesn't end there; satisfied owners will also get a couple sweet collectibles: a detailed replica of Leonardo da Vinci's Flying Machine and a 7-inch Ezio figurine. The former is a 6"-7" scale and the cannon will actually pivot and fire a spring-loaded projectile, while the latter features "over 30 points of articulation," a sword accessory, and retractable blades on the gauntlets. Love those things.

That isn't bad for fans of the franchise. And if you have to pick only one special edition to purchase this fall, we'd say the Assassin's Creed: Revelations Ultimate Bundle is definitely in the running.

Wow, I was just looking in to if there was a collectors edition announce for NA yet, and didn't see anything, so I assumed that there wasn't going to be. This edition is awesome, even better than last years. I will defiantly be placing a pre-order.

Hmm.... I'd consider it. I don't usually get collectors editions, though. I'm usually just into the game. We'll see, I guess. I'm sure the in game add-ons will be available via DLC eventually, anyways.

The Assassins Creed collectors editions have always been gorgeous. There are very few collectors editions I can honestly say that I'd want to put on display in my home, but the AC ones are rare exceptions.

I've noticed that AC collectors edition always go down in price to $60 after about a month or two after their release, so i'll wait and buy it then…much cheaper ^_^

*sarcasm* argh this is another attempt at forcing gamers to buy games new, because now youre getting an incomplete experience without spending $100. Cancel your reserves out of principle! =p

Anyway, they can keep the extra crap; I just want the game.

Does anyone wanna buy my copy of AC2? It's in really good shape. I don't want it near my other games...

Oh, you mean that library of games consisting of Saints Row, Splatterhouse, Dark Void and Alpha Protocol. You're right, keep AC2 away from those games =p

I've heard nothing but good things about it, why don't you want it near your other games?

I hated the first AC because it was too repetitive(could'n finish it), the second was really different.

Yup, don't want it near my lower quality fun games either. It might corrupt them with its overratedness.

LV, the game just isn't for me. I encourage you to try it though. For me it just fails at meshing RPG and sandbox adventure. It simply can't keep up with my reactions or thought patterns. The glitches, slowness, reaction times, bad Italian accents, and boringness just solidify my inability to put up with what it's trying to do.

I'll gladly go back into the series when it begins to play like a real sandbox or open world one that reacts to my button presses without changing context all the time. There is plenty to like there, it just can't capture me.

But that original comment wasn't put there just to badmouth it. I'd actually like to be rid of it, will anyone pay $10 or should I charge $7?

I'll pay $10 for the game and include an extra $4 for shipping.

So is $14 a fair price? I want this game.

Remember, the old days, World, of us irritating Ben with snide AC remarks. And here I had to actually go play them and like 'em and all. You;re on your own now =)

But anyway, you're let down because of it's RPG elements? I can;t classify anything that makes allowances for a player to successfully complete a game in it's entirety from real time actions alone as an RPG. Because that's an action game if you ask me. More particularly, an open-world stealth-action game in AC;s case.
Oh, and Ezio doesn't pass for an attractive female, nor does it have talking animals =p

Hey, LV, my man of money. I've got some stuff to sell too. Hmm let's see, oh what's this? an autographed copy of Half Life 2. Signed by the big Gabe himself. $20?

=p

Tem,

I already have a signed Counter-Strike T-shirt, I met Gabe back in 2001 in Chicago at McCormick place.

Besides I know you're kidding, you could never part with such an item if you actually owned it.

I wasn't kidding, meeting him is right up there with meeting Michael Jordan and Larry Bird.

I HATE TF2, absolutely despise the game. I love TFC and played it for years more than any other game and was looking forward to the new installment which as you know Valve took forever and I was pretty upset with the final product.

In my CS glory days I played in several CAL leagues but that was years ago.

Nice. The only famous people I got excited about seeing were comic book artists. Though, I wouldn't mind meeting certain game industry dudes too.

sweet!
no one does limited editions as well as ubisoft!
still got my codex edition from brotherhood.
dirt cheap too only 150 bucks and it came with heaps of DLC, a leather bound diary, playing cards, a case shaped as the codex boxes, a figurine of ezio.
not bad for 150 bucks!
especially considering $ony was offering less in the KZ3 hig edition, yet that was 100 bucks MORE!
