Resistance 3 Beta Cap Raised, "New Stuff" This Weekend
Resistance 3I have to admit, that Resistance 3 multiplayer beta is a ton o' fun. Very refreshing in some ways I think.
If you missed it, you can read our impressions on the sample, and if you've been enjoying yourself right along, Insomniac has some good news for you.
A reader, who keeps a close eye on various Twitter feeds, including that of Insomniac Community Manager James Stevenson, has forwarded this info. As you can see, Stevenson has announced an increase for the beta level cap; it's going from 20 to 30 this weekend. Plus, he mentions that we'll get some "new stuff" to toy around with; unfortunately, he didn't elaborate on that "stuff." Even so, anything new for this beta is encouraging. It's just another excuse to keep playing, all the way up until the game's release.
By the way, in case you've forgotten, Resistance 3 arrives on September 6. That's only a little over a week away. Deep Silver's Dead Island shares the same release day, by the way, and you can expect more on that one. We'll be involved in a Q&A roundtable this week.
