Dead Island Launch Trailer: Zombies, Drama, Blood
Dead IslandDead Island is less than a week away now, and we can't wait to try it.
If you have some reservations or you haven't gotten a good enough look, check out this launch trailer that just released. Complete with plenty of marauding zombies, an in-depth storyline, large environment, and more than a few RPG-like elements, this one has a boatload of promise.
Expect to see another Dead Island headline a little later, as we'll dish on everything we learned during our Q&A Roundtable Discussion with developer Techland. Why the information is embargoed for another 14 hours, I have no idea, but whatever. We'll abide by the rules.

It's a FPS that has Zombies and offers multiplayer. I don't see how it doesn't follow in L4D's footsteps.

This might not be a D1P for me, but I definitely have my eye on it. Am gonna wait for either a price drop or to see how many of my friends get it and for what platform.
Best thing is, unlike Left 4 Dead 2, Dead Island WILL NOT be censored in Australia!! WOO HOO!! Seriously, this is actually quite a big deal for us, getting a really violent game uncensored. Dead Space 1 and 2 were censored, GTA IV was censored, Left 4 Dead 2 was incredibly censored to the point of being unplayable... well, you get the gist. :)

Lawless, ____________ and I frequently hang out for barbeques while watching the AFL or cricket, meanwhile feeding our pet Koalas and kangaroos when they come inside to get out of the 45 degree heat! We then play some Fruit Ninja, Firemint Real Racing or Rugby League on PS3, cos that's how Aussie we really are!! :P

most of the time a game only gets banned because of what the enemy is called.
for example L4D2 only got banned because valve refused to call them zombies instead of the infected.
so it makes it your killing humans instead of a fictional being.
i know stupid, but thats the guides and they have to follow by them.
stuff afl and cricket, NRL all the way!
no seriously, the other 2 put me to sleep!
no koalas either, kangaroos literally living in the back yard.

this is not exactly the best way to instil confidence in your fans techland!
speaking of reviews whats happening with R3?
thats releasing the same day as this and that has not got a review either.
though GOW origins which is releasing a week later does.
WTF?
weird, $ony exclusives normally get reviewed weeks if not a month earlier!
