Uncharted Dual Pack Brings Double The Drake Goodness

Two of the greatest games of the generation for $40. ...that's really all we should need to say.

Sony has announced the Greatest Hits Uncharted Dual Pack, which will launch next week on September 6.

As you might expect, this package includes the first two great titles: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Also included will be a voucher for bunch of DLC, featuring all the add-ons that came with the Uncharted 2 Game of the Year Edition. Oh yes, and we'll get a dynamic theme and avatar, too.

If you're a hardcore gamer and you haven't played the productions in question, we say shame on you. But maybe you have strange tastes. We can accept that...sort of. But doesn't this awesome deal give you enough incentive to at least try 'em?

Evidently he is into games like the Uncharted series since he mentioned he was going to buy this. So I figure if he is into the series and it's known by pretty much everyone as THE SERIES to showcase what the PS3 has to offer it's a fair question to ask why he doesn't already own these games.

I live in a small town in northern Wisconsin. The only places that sell video games are a Walmart and a used video game store that doesn't have much in stock for PS3 usually (they have a lot for 360 though). I've just never seen the first Uncharted at either of them. I've seen a lot of Uncharted 2, but almost none of the first surprisingly.

If you're interested in the multiplayer portion of Uncharted2 than I say get this bundle. If you're like me and only played these games for the SP portion than I suggest not getting the bundle, you can find both games for cheaper than this.

Are you sure...both games cost $30 seperately...well here in LA, so why the hell would you buy them seperate if you can get the bundle for $40...just sayin

Actually you can find Uncharted for under $15 online as well as Uncharted 2 for under $25. So if someone is not into the MP aspect it makes more sense to save some money and get them separate than burn a few dollars on things you wont even use.

First off the shipping for both games BRAND NEW is free and depending on your state you most likely wont be paying for sales tax.

Second as I've stated multiple times if someone is only interested in the SP portion of Uncharted2 they aren't going to be interested in the extra DLC this bundle offers as I believe 99.9% of it is for the MP portion.

$25+$15 is $40....the Dual Pack is $40 with extras...yeah, seperately still isn't the best choice, but it isn't a bad choice either since you get the individual casing and if I was trying to find these find seperately for the price you listed...I would do what you instead! But still, the dual pack has the extra goodies, but I'm pretty sure once UC3 comes out...UC2 MP will die out fast anyway so I don't really know.

Well then I have 2 points.

1. If this is a reply to my comment I suggest using the reply feature, it's easy to use and doesn't clutter the comment section.

2. You can find both games BRAND NEW for cheaper than this bundle so you would be supporting the developer and getting a better deal if you were only interested in SP (a majority of the DLC included if not all is for the MP portion).

We got this double pack here in Australia last month, but it didn't contain any additional DLC codes or content. :(

Since I already got Uncharted 1 and 2, giving this a skip, but I do highly recommend it to EVERYONE who owns a PS3!! Uncharted and PS3 go together like salt and pepper.

Nah, just a different type of bundle pack. What we got was a discounted platinum range pack, such as Uncharted 1 and 2 bundled together, Ratchet and Clank ToD and ACIT, and Resistance 1 and 2. Just the platinum versions bundled into a cardboard box and sold for $20 less than what they're worth separately.

We have had this in the UK for a while now, there is also a pack for Resistance 1 & 2 and Ratchet and Clank one, the prices are so low, its like a buy one get one free deal, If anyone has yet to play these games, now they have no excuse.

I own the second game only (though I did complete the first game), unfortunately my disc has been riddled with glitches since I bought it when it first came out (some chapters will randomly have no floors then the forever spinning needle syndrome in chapter 23 prevents my platinum). So dual collection for $40 dollars beats paying $30 for a new Uncharted 2 disc.

I have both these games, but that is awesome!

infact uncharted 2 was the only game i ever paid the full 40 quid for. everything else ive managed to get cheaper (no trade ins too!)

Will get this 1 too, i have all 3 regions uncharted and uncharted 2 and region 1 game of the year edition of uncharted 2, this pack will look awesome with the rest of my uncharted collection
