Amy: Examine Chilling Faces Of Horror
As we've already seen with L.A. Noire, faces are crucial for conveying emotion.
And the developers of Amy fully understand that concept: a face is worth a thousand words, and Lexis Numérique is working hard to deliver realistic, effective faces for their new terrifying project, Amy.
Check out the "faces of horror" at the PlayStation Blog, where we also learn more about the characters involved. We already know about Lana and Amy; the former is a young woman infected by the spreading post-apocalyptic plague, and Amy is a quiet, mysterious 8-year-old who never speaks. The two must work together to survive and during their quest, they'll come across other people affected by the outbreak.
The two featured here are Father John and Professor Raymond. Father John is a priest in Silver City, and he believes the disease is "final proof that Armageddon is near." Therefore, he tries to organize any remaining survivors to resist the "demonic invasion." Professor Raymond is more mysterious; we don't know much about him yet, and that's probably for the sake of story surprises. Anyway, you have to admit, those faces are excellent, aren't they?
And have you forgotten that this is a downloadable game? Amy is scheduled to release exclusively on the PlayStation Network, but we don't have an estimated release date yet.

My only concern is on Amy, I fear it wil become one of them protective missions, like when Raiden has to guide Emma in MGS2... We all found that quite annoying... even if you can knock Emma out with one punch form the Nikita... But I am definatly keeping this game in the radar, if the downloadable game is a full game and not battered with DLC.

well i hope so, last game i could call genuinely scary was doom 3 so its been a long time coming!
just started playing it again the other day with all the new HD texture mods, my god its amazing what the community can do!
makes crysis 2 look like a freaking snes game!
yet another reason why PC gaming is king, not only the smoothness and better graphics, but the mods letting you do basically anything you can think of!
makes me that much more excited for the DN3D and crash mods coming out later in the year.
the original crash in the crytek 2 engine....... i think i just died and went to heaven!
