Deus Ex: Human Revolution Ships Two Million Copies
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a fantastic game and one that deserves recognition.
Square Enix has announced that their engrossing sci-fi action/RPG has shipped two million units in North America, Europe and PAL territories; the game only launched a couple weeks ago, too.
The first title to be developed and released by Eidos Montreal is scheduled to launch in Japan next month, and it has already garnered plenty of critical acclaim and fan appreciation. It holds a Metacritic score of 89% for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions (as of September 8) and "offers players multiple and vastly different ways to play." In the year 2027, humans have made the mistake of trying to create better humans and longer life; cheating nature, so-to-speak. And in the world of Deus Ex, there are always consequences for such actions...there just always are.
The first piece of DLC, The Missing Link, will be available in October and Adam Jensen fans are sure to snag it. Extending this experience in any way is an appealing thought, isn't it?
SPOILERS!!!
By the way, if you've played the game, did you happen to save Malik...? Did you know you could save Malik?

I read every single email and ebook, talk to everyone I see, pick up hints in what they say and investigate them further (even non named civilians can sometimes tell you things worth checking out), explore every nook an cranny searching for hidden passages, pondering on strategies, buying and selling and spending skillpoints and having a total blast along the way.
Not to mention the wonderful, wonderful sensation of not knowing exactly where to go or what to do next!
It's lovely to see the recognition this game gets. It's just *so* deserved. Hopefully it sends a strong signal to the rest of the business: There's good money to be found in more than fancy pancy mp shooters.

The Conspiracy, Invisible Wars, and Project Snowblind.
(which was actually supposed to be D.E.#3, till they decided put multi=player in it, & then made it as it's own stand-alone game
Check Project Snowblind out here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Snowblind

Just like saving your brother Paul from the first one. Deus Ex appears linear, but actually throughout your entire journey even though you are encouraged to follow a route, the game subtly lets you decide - approaching alternative scenarios which you wouldn't know even existed unless you were quite adamant. And it isn't a game like KOTOR where there's a text to choose from making you realise there's consequences. Nope, it's a game where differences are made my walking the walk instead of talking the talk.

And I'm actually playing this game for the first time this year. I should of really taken my friend's advice when he told me Dues Ex was a really good game, because to me it's one of the best games ever made.
I'll play Human Revolution after the Invisible War. Good news on the sales.

I indeed saved her. I was sure you could, it didn't seem to be a set time that it was exploding and that the heli was actually receiving damage and with a bit of strategizing she got out. I was so satisfied when the trophy came up and I read the description. A rarity for me as I don't usually care for trophies.

im surprised and happy to see this game doing so well!
especially since it use to be a PC exclusive series and never has really been mainstream.
its not like crysis everyone with a PC knew about that game, and everyone with consoles wish they had a {C to play it!
this though was far more niche so im really surprised to see it doing so well
