Dead Island Bloodbath Arena DLC Only Weeks Away
Well, that didn't take long. These days, developers are often waiting in the wings, all primed and ready to deliver expansion content for a freshly released title.
Deep Silver has already revealed the first batch of DLC for Dead Island.
It's the Bloodbath Arena pack and it adds four new maps to the multiplayer action. New content for decomposing role-player Dead Island will arrive later this month, Deep Silver has announced. Actually, anybody who purchased the game from Euro retailer ShopTo were already aware of the impending DLC; their copy came packaged with a voucher code for the fresh content. As for the game itself, it has suffered a few PC-related issues, and the technological aspects aren't quite up to snuff.
But as we say in our review (linked above), it's still plenty of fun and well worth the investment if you get engrossed in the frightening world. It's even better with a buddy. The Bloodbath Arena will show up later this month.

I kid.
But seriously, this is something that can easily be included in the game for everyone. Take it as you will, but I really think a lot of developers are using DLC as way to rake in extra cash further than the game's retail price.
DLCs released months is something I understand because perhaps it took some time to make, but days or a week, is not cool.

im really having a ball with this.
only thing i hate is the objective markers sometime disappear if you start a new quest so its hard to find what marker is for what mission.
for example i had to bring a gas can back to mike so i could burn some carcases.
but there was 4 white skulls on the map saying bring the gas can back to mike, so which one is it?
first one?
nope.
2nd one?
nope.
3rd one?
nope.
4th one?
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!
that and the stronger zombies there so freaking hard to kill!
you have to try and flank them but you cant because they move so freaking fast its really hard to dodge there attacks, and they do allot of freaking damage!
allot easier to hurl things at them, but even after emptying my whole inventory he still had 3/4s of his health left!

The control is very good it's shocking! I was floored by how well it controlled. The melee kick is a great stage setter.
The Banoi island it beautiful! There is so much more this PS3 can do after seeing games like KZ3 and now this. Yes, I am really loving the graphics and most importantly the Atmosphere!!
I am very happy with the animations as well. The limping lumbering zombies are so realistic. Some of them sprint at you!
One thing I really love is that when I save, leave the game and then go back in the zombies respawn!!!! This really makes it easier to get those accumulation trophies. I just got the kill 25 zombies with your fists and it was really fun. I had this one zombie flat out sprint at me on the beach and I punched him right when he reached me and killed him!! I was like YEAH! Total Zombieland type bad ass kill :) I must have timed it perfectly because it gave me the BREAK icon letting me know I broke its neck. Next!
Very fun game and by the looks of it very long. I will be enjoying this one all the way up to Dark Souls release!!
Also, I know when I am playing a game when I am going to achieve platinum. I feel that with this game. It has so many good qualities that it has given me that confidence and knowledge that I will persevere through it to achieve the platinum. Sometimes I play games and I just don't get that feeling and I am just wanting to get through it and finish it. This game has that special quality that I want to do everything and spend a lot of time with it.
Nice job Techland!

A place of beauty, horror and awesome fun. After just 10 minutes into the game I was in love. 10 hours and 23 levels later, I was having a blast, but it was late. Dreams about zombies lead to waking up and playing again, only to realize my data was mostly gone. Saves at checkpoints my ass. Aside from this drasticly painful error, great friggin' amazing game. So proud of techland for making the only serious, scary first person realitsic zombie game with good graphics.

I don t really recommend doing this tho since you will see about 90 percent of each area when doing the main and side mission .
