A truly amazing game. Forever carbon frozen to my PS3 collection. If there is anyone who has not played this shame on you! It's compared to not seeing Star Wars.

80 hours and a platinum later I can truly say this is the best western themed game ever made. The only negative thing I got out of playing this game was carpal tunnel :(. Never, ever had a problem until I tried to plat it and get my MP level up to 50. I remember barely being able to press R2! R2 kills me in every game since that needs it pressed continuously to shoot. May have to get the surgery. Ahhhh, good times indeed.

You both have my pity....

The good news for less fortunate souls like yourselves is that you can play this Ultimate version now and get it all at once! Redemption is not an impossibility.

Now rise sons of non-RDR loathing, rise and go to Church Amazon.com and preorder your RDR faith! RISE AND BE ONE WITH THE ALL ENCOMPASSING GLORY THAT IS THE....MARSTON!

Red Dead Redemption is one of the best games I played. I'll buy GOTY Edition for sure because I never played any of the dlc.

Wow. I love the hardcore setting on Fallout New Vegas. If it is close to this, consider me sold.

Very well deserved GOTY edition. They should have released it months ago. October-November is already crowded with lots of new games.

I agree with you, but it looks like they wanted to include Myths and Mavericks too.

Lucky me, this is exactly why I haven't gotten RDR yet as I was waiting for the GOTY version with everything already included on the disc.

And I'll wait to do the same with R*'s other big hit hit L.A. Noire too(yes, I completely expect some site or organization somewhere out there to give it their GOTY too)

Oxvial,

LOL, thanks, I expect I'll be loving it even more that I did with the original "RDR", or with either "Gun" or "The Bounty Hunter" too.

Yes, as a gaming collector there's just too many games, but too little money to buy every single game right away(plus then times that by how many systems that same game might also be on too).

I've always waited it out instead if I think there's even the slightest chance a GOTY version will get released.

And even if I'm wrong & it doesn't get a GOTY, at least the huge price drop by that time is still a major bonus for me waiting it out.

Plus with my humungous backlog of games still needing to be played, it just makes sense for me to wait it out for either, a GOTY version, a big price drop, or whenever there's a great Buy 2-Get 1 free deal.

Well so that's the path of the collector :D.

Still game is always great, sometimes I just don't even advance and just play the awesome minigames RDR has.

Yes I still don't finish it lol, is about time.

Epic game that I love to just pick up n play once in awhile, after all the hours I put into it last year. RDR is easily in my top ten favorite games of all time. It's just so good. I miss playing it actually. Wheres the next entry in the series?

I'll definitely be getting this for PS3. I recently broke off a friendship between the only 2 people I played 360 with, meaning my 360 version of red dead is now pointless to have. Well, there's one really good friend who I can play it with on 360, but he's hardly ever on it since my friends are big PC gamers.

Does anyone know if the trophies for this will sync with the normal game? I don't want to have to get all the trophies again if it's listed under a new game.

sha4dowknight05,
I set up my email account to receive tons of info on everything gaming, and more from store's gaming deals.(you should see how much stuff I usually send over to Ben daily, some days I'm probably clogging up his mailbox, LOL)

Plus I also have my twitter account set to everything gaming, including deals too, & a lot of the times developers, publishers, and/or stores will tweet their quick deals.

Plus I'm constantly surfing the web for even more gaming info.

(BTW, those 2 deals above came from one of my daily emails).

As for the codes working for Canada, I don't know but make sure to look around at the small print at the bottom of the site.
If none, I'd just try one of the codes out to see if it works, & then if the code doesn't work there, you should still be able to just empty the sale from your cart at check out.

Let me know how it works out for you, & good luck!

sweet!
i really need to finish this i only had like 3 missions left.
i wish developers would have cross platform saves so we could transfer our saves in between systems if we need to.
allot of games i like to play again on PC to see what there like there, but cant be stuffed because that would mean starting all over again.
crysis 2 for example wasted 4GBs of my download usage downloading the DX11 and HRT packs, and a few mods and i have not even installed them yet!
