TGS 2011: Soul Calibur V Lands On Shelves In Q1 2012
Fighting fans have enjoyed quite a few stellar titles this generation, and yet another now has an estimated release date.
Namco Bandai vice president Carlson Choi first confirmed a few PlayStation Vita launch titles during the company's Tokyo Game Show presentation. Ridge Racer, Katamari Damacy, and Shinobido 2: Tales of the Ninja will help Sony's new portable later this year.
Finally, producer Hisaharu Tago arrived to chat about the highly anticipated Soul Calibur V. He revealed that Namco had outsourced various parts of the game; for example, CyberConnect2 (.hack, Naruto Ultimate Ninja) has been working with Namco on the fifth SC installment. But most important of all is the release window: Q1 2012. That's a global estimate, too, so even US and European gamers should expect to see SCV before the end of March 2012.
If there's one fighting series I've always loved, it's Soul Calibur. For some reason, it always felt accessible and exciting, and I'm expecting nothing but a fantastic battling experience when SCV arrives.

To each his own, but thats extremely minor reason to avoid a game you claim is ur favorite fighting series. She may look AND play the same with some new moves showing off her new found power on top of her being one of the most overused characters in tourney play. So chances are she'll get even better.
Never said your point is difficult to grasp, i see your point, tho it may be a bit of a knee jerk reaction 'omfg, she's evil, i hate this game'
If you're avoiding it due to story reasons....wow, didn't know people play fighters for their stories, especially SC series, stories hasn't been its strong suit since Soul Blade and even then the story wasn't really all that great
Most fighting fans think their character was screwed up if they got nerfed, like some of their bread and butter moves are completely useless, or do little damage compared to what it use to do, not because of some good/evil shift. Something is telling me you don't play fighters too much for competition

Oddly enough I play games for fun, for entertainment, not competition. I don't understand why you're so offended by this that you need to berate me with your elitist competitive gamer BS.
So, excuse me for having an opinion, or character preference based on something other that their performance in 'competition'.
No Sophitia, no purchase.

No one berated you with any kind of 'elitist competitive gamer BS' all i said was that i feel like you don't play them for competition, which btw was a spot on guess, how the hell is it an insult? You admit it yourself.
Also you got it backward, i said if you do play fighters for sport and competition (which is fun, not sure why people who don't actually compete thinks that competing isn't fun for those who do it) then story wouldn't truly matter. When i said you must not compete, i said it thinking 'ok, maybe he plays it just for the story, if so, different strokes for different folks' not to point and so 'damn what a noob'
Also, i really don't care which games you buy, as it has no bearing on the fun factor i have in a video game. No one dismissed your opinion, it wasn't even a serious debate, try not to take everything so personal sometimes.
I just think someone's alignment shift would intrigue a 'fan' of a character and make him wanna find out exactly what brought about the change, not totally dismiss it.
You can have your opinion all you want, i encourage it, but when someone disagrees with it and tells you why, please stop thinking its some kind of attack on you when truly it isnt

Thats probably the only reason why i noticed it after making a character and giving him his weapon.
If you still have the game, compare Asta's throw range or any of his other moves to that extra character that uses that spear but fights like him. Asta's already not exactly the fastest person you could pick, so ur at a disadvantage if you use his axe on a person you make simply because no matter how muscular you make him, they never come out as big as Asta

VF5:FS
DOA5
TTT2
SC5
SF x Tekken
did I miss any?
and my bud tells me something MK "ultimate edition" is making rumors in the underground.
But of the lot, DOA5, VF:FS, and TTT2 are top of the list for me.
