Tell Sony You're A PlayStation Fan And Win...Something

Okay, watcha doing, Sony?

Are you an ardent PlayStation fan? Are you willing to tell Sony why you're a huge fan? Are you okay with participating in a mystery contest?

Then head on over to the PlayStation Blog and read up on VP of Product Marketing Scott Steinberg's message to PlayStation Nation: all you need to do is send an e-mail to playstationgamer@playstion.sony.com before 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, September 20. The message must contain-

-- 30 words or less (yes we’ll be counting), telling us why you are the ultimate PlayStation gamer.

-- Then attach a high-quality picture of you holding your PS3 controller in the environment you love to game in. It could be on your couch, in your man-cave or your desk chair in your dorm room —wherever you spend your time taking down enemy forces, racing dream cars, knocking out home runs and uncovering long-lost treasure.

We have no idea what this will get you, but it doesn't take much effort, does it? Won't your curiosity get the better of you? Whatever the reward Sony has planned, it ought to be worth that little bit of effort, and we'll be very interested to see what Sony has up their sleeve...

Too bad my man cave is nowhere near interesting. That and the fact that I do not live in the United States. LOL This should be interesting though.

Hey ZettaiSeigi,

FYI, good news for you....
If you look into the comment section on the Blog, you'll see that according to Ami Sheth from the Blog(all the red highlighted posts), she keeps telling multiple questioners that it's open for all gamers everywhere.

Really now? Thanks for the heads up, BikerSaint! However I still cannot join because, well, my "man cave" is not interesting enough let alone impressive. I'll just see what the eventual winner has to show. LOL And you, with your massive collection of games, are a shoo-in! :)

Any man cave is interesting enough if you put a PS3 in it ;)

You get a free ride in that supercar that Kevin Butler still hasn't given back after doing that GT5 commercial.

You better put up with maniacal laughter of his, once again as he burns rubber out of your driveway, or he'll wind up drilling you full of holes from his personal SOCOM-skinned sharpshooter.

Ha, you got any easy one, if he's that magical you can shrink hin down to the same size of Demon Dog.

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell I can take a picture while trying to juggle 1,187 Playstation games, plus 1 PS, 2 PS2's & 2 PS3's, 5 PSP's & and a PSPGO on my little ole lap.

LV, a bit off topic, but how do you like the new headset? I'm in the market and seems to be getting good reviews but I'd like to see what you think. Thanks in advance!

I love the new headset. On a full charge I can get around 9-10hrs of gaming on it. The design is great, it's easy to control everything without taking the headset off. You're able to control the sound of incoming voice communication and actual gameplay audio. I left the living room during a cutscene in WKC2 and took a piss and listened to the entire conversation, lol.

For $99 I think they're a steal. During games the 7.1 is very noticeable. I could hear the movement of my party based on their location. Oh and the headset isn't heavy, I had it on for 4hrs last night and didn't even think about it.

I've heard people having issues with router interference but I haven't had a single issue and my router is only a few feet my my PS3.

I strongly suggest the headset, I also got a 2 year warranty for only $10.

LV,

LOL, thanks, but due to that other major problem I've got going on that I emailed about earlier, I'm not sure I'll even be able to enter or not.

Hopefully I can rectify everything to my satisfaction when I go into court on it tomorrow morning. Wish me some good luck, cause I really need some about now!

Trophy hunter,
Yeah, those are just in my Playstation collections. I have another 937 disc & cart based games in all my other various console & hand-held collections too. And probably about another 10=12 more D/L'ed games.

Well... Time to tidy up my room a bit and show Sony my awesome gaming setup, including a 32" TV, a 5,1 surround system powered by a Sony amp and heck, maybe I'll pull my old (broken) PS2 out of a closet and put it there neatly next to my PS3.

Also, yay for me, just turned 18 today :D
