Find The Missing Link Next Week
Yeah, Batman: Arkham City comes out on October 18, but maybe sci-fi action/RPG is more your style.
If so, and you've been loving Deus Ex: Human Revolution, you don't want to miss out on the upcoming downloadable content. Called "The Missing Link," this lengthy piece of DLC apparently adds at least five hours of gameplay; some estimates have gone as high seven or eight hours.
We knew it was coming this month, but we weren't certain of a release date. Now we are: if you check the publisher's Twitter page, you will find the announcement. The Missing Link will be available on October 18 in North America for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and it'll retail for $14.99. You had to expect that $15 price point due to the sheer length of the content, so let's not complain.
By the way, has anyone noticed how many more actual reveals and announcements are showing up on Twitter? Since when did that become an official part of the industry or journalism? I guess there's nothing wrong with doing that, but there's something about it that bugs me a little...

But I'm wondering, can this be played even though I'm not done with the main story yet? ("can" as in "does it make sense", storywise")

Ever since it exploded in popularity and use by said consumers, it is now what everyone knows it as; a social networking site.

By the way, any word on when the pre-order content will be put up for sale? I've read a few articles that make it sound as if it's already on the Network, but every time I check, it's not there.
