Street Fighter X Tekken Launch Date, Special Edition
Once again, February and March are shaping up to be big months.
At this past week's New York Comic-Con event, Capcom announced that Street Fighter X Tekken, the hotly anticipated crossover fighter, will launch in North America for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 6, and three days later in Europe, as usual.
Producer Yoshinori Ono also confirmed that the team has started work on a PC version, although we didn't get a release date. The game is also coming to the PlayStation Vita, but that too lacks a release date, although we're hoping it comes out for the handheld's US launch. This could make the new portable's launch that much more appealing, don't you think?
By the way, if you're a hardcore fan, you can step up and nab the Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition: it includes the game, a "build-it-yourself" arcade cabinet bank measuring 5" in height (woah), and a prequel comic book from UDON. Lastly, the SE boasts 36 "gems," a gameplay mechanic that alters abilities and stats.
Can you imagine if we got a chance to build an entire arcade cabinet from scratch? With all the circuitry and everything?
