  Square-Enix's first true next-gen effort will arrive this fall, and just in time for the holiday season. The Last Remnant will debut first on the Xbox 360 (sorry, PlayStation 3 owners), and here's the first teaser trailer that gives you a sneak peek at the unbelievable cinematics. Clearly, this is a Square-Enix product; the level of artistry and design quality is through the roof, and provided the gameplay follows suit, this is gonna be one hot title. Just remember, this isn't a straight-up traditional RPG (those really don't exist anymore, anyway), as The Last Remnant is closer to a real-time strategy game. Of course, there will be role-playing elements as well, and regardless of the genre, it remains one of the most anticipated projects of 2008.
