  It won't make it for 2008, but this only means that Killzone 2 will be one of the most anticipated games of 2009. If you're not fully amped up for this one yet, just check out the latest Desecration Trailer, which proves next-gen intensity is downright insane. There's a whole lot of competition in the FPS genre these days, but Guerilla is preparing a seriously top-notch project guaranteed to excite and energize. The dark, gritty, explosive environment appears to be both effective and even original, and this sequel should erase all mediocre memories of the original. Make sure you clear a spot on your calendars for the end of February, because if you're a PS3 owner, you will want to pick up Killzone 2.
