EA seeks to redefine the nature of the survival/horror genre with their ambitious Dead Space project, and this trailer proves its bloody appeal. Like any good freaky action title, there's going to be a ton of nightmarish creatures lurking in the darkness, and you'll have to be merciless in your approach. So long as the developers nail down the third-person shooter mechanic and the story is as intriguing as they claim, we should get a clear-cut winner. We still have to wait a while for Resident Evil 5, and Silent Hill: Homecoming will have already been out for a few weeks, so...Dead Space should sit near the top of your "most anticipated list," right?
