  It may be the week of Resistance 2, but role-playing and strategy fans would rather pick up Sega's very promising Valkyria Chronicles today. Here's the launch trailer, and as you can see, it's designed specifically for fans of the niche genre (and it helps if you enjoy the quintessential Japanese art style). We already got a solid RPG from Namco in Eternal Sonata last month, and now, PS3 owners get another one. After waiting for over a year and a half for quality role-playing experiences, owners of Sony's next-gen system are finally getting some love. Not surprisingly, though, they have to turn Eastward in order to get their fix, but hey, we'll take it. Early reviews have been excellent, so don't dismiss Valkyria Chronicles!
