  We're not sure who came up with the concept for Afro Samurai, but after seeing this carnage gameplay trailer, we're convinced it's exceedingly bloody. Watch as the hero literally slashes opponents in two and goes on a rampage; none can withstand the magnificent flurry of the Afro Samurai! This is the type of action game that should appeal to a wide demographic, simply due to its over-the-top action and brutal violence that is most reminiscent of the nastiest anime movies. It's scheduled to release on December 31, so perhaps Afro Samurai will be the very last worthwhile title in 2008. We've already had many awesome games this year, but we haven't seen anything quite like this yet...
