  It may not be a complete rejuvenation of the ailing franchise, but at the very least, it's nowhere near as bad as the previous Sonic the Hedgehog next-gen installment. Sonic Unleashed really does have a lot going for it, including the prospect of some seriously epic boss battles. Here's a trailer depicting just that; it's a colorful and hectic presentation, which could be enough to entice you into a purchase. Although many complained there was too much of an emphasis on the fighting, the platforming is still almost as solid as it was back in the Dreamcast days, and for old-school Sonic fans, you really don't have another option. Sonic Unleashed might be a great addition to your holiday wish list...
