Watchmen: The End is Nigh - VGA 2008: World Premier Video

  Clearly a third-person action title, this is the first we're seeing of Watchmen: The End is Nigh. Obviously made to coincide with the release of the feature film early next year, this is one title we're going to keep an eye on. Although games based on movies are historically atrocious, we've seen a few examples in 2008 - (Kung Fu Panda, The Bourne Conspiracy) - that actually went against the grain and turned out good. Therefore, maybe developers will actually start to put a little more effort into such projects, and if that's the case, we'll be appropriately excited. Watchmen will have its fair share of competition when it releases, but here's hoping it can stand up to the big boys.
