  If Capcom does what we know they're capable of doing, Resident Evil 5 will be a legitimate Game of the Year contender in 2009. The competition may be through the roof, but if you can look at this new trailer and remain in doubt of the game's greatness, you've got a few marbles rolling around upstairs. Sure, we don't see much in the way of gameplay, but there are plenty of other videos out there that feature actual footage. And besides, this one proves just how incredible RE5 looks; this is easily one of the prettiest titles we've seen so far this generation! And the best part? We get the feeling that this one won't just appeal to the survival/horror aficionados...no, we think RE5 will cater to just about anyone who loves games.
