There was a time when the real-time strategy genre commanded a great deal of praise and attention in the PC realm, but now that consoles have essentially taken over the market, those days are long gone. Even so, RTSs are beginning to make their presence felt on the next-gen machines, and one of them will be World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. If you keep your gaming PC for the express purpose of playing old strategy titles like Command & Conquer and Age of Empires, you'll want to learn more about World in Conflict.
