The face of the video game industry is always changing, and the advancement and evolution of genres is inevitable. For an example of how the RTS has taken on a new style and shape, check out this launch trailer for Stormrise. Rather than the standard three-quarters top-down view we're all familiar with, this gameplay mechanic is more action-oriented and dynamic in nature. And yet, they don't sacrifice any of the depth or intricacy the RTS genre is so well known for, so it's like the best of both worlds. If you want to test your brainpower and still want some great sci-fi drama, you might want to give Stormrise a try.
